What a week!  I have been so tired for so long...and I don't know when I will ever have time to catch up on sleep!

RA/CA Selection weekend went very well.  There was only one snaffoo, but it was quickly dealt with.  I was at work from 8:30-5:30 Saturday and from 12:30-9:00 Sunday.  It was exhausting work but thankfully it only happens twice a year!  We did our make-up process Tuesday afternoon and were finished by 6:30.  Tomorrow we have our draft where we decide who will be hired.  I can't wait for it to be over!!  You can't imagine the time and preparation that goes into a process like this.  It is a BIG job!

It isn't as big a job as birthin' a baby though!!  Congratulations Jason and Cathy on your precious little Annabelle.  She is so pretty!

I have had a conference today and tomorrow.  ArCPA.  It has it's fun moments, but mostly it is business stuff.  I have had a difficult time staying awake on and off throughout the day.  It's a good thing they kept the Convocation Center at a balmy 46 degrees!  The frigid temps kept me awake!  Seriously though--it has been a good conference and it gets me more contacts throughout the state.

Late in the afternoon I got an email telling me I am to take lead on our spring semester training.  What?!  I asked a month ago!!  Now I have less than two months to plan this week long training.  I got the email moments before attending a breakout session on fun  training ideas, so I guess the timing was good!

I am really into the groove of work now and I am happy to be making a difference so early in my career here.

Keali has started saying, "Mammy, I miss yewww."  It is so cute but I don't really think she does.  She really wants little to do with me...she has turned into a Daddy's Girl.

Heath and I attended Kalyn's parent/teacher conference earlier in the week.  We got a large stack of her artwork and got to see where she stands developmentally.  She is doing really well!  There were three sections on her chart where she was scored at a 1, and a 2.  I was so upset that her scores were so low--I know she can do the things being tested.  Then I realized that in those cases the lower the score, the better.  I knew it all along.  My daughter is a genius.  And now more of the world knows it!!

No surprise to anyone who has met Kalyn--socially she is doing very well.  "She is not shy at all," said her teacher Mrs. Anna.  Kalyn likes to talk and tell stories.  She does have a problem sharing, but what almost 4 year old doesn't?  Especially if they have a little sibling with whom they are expected to share?!  In all I left the meeting feeling certain that Kalyn's portrait will someday grace the halls of that pre-school as being the brightest pupil to have ever attended.  She really is a genius.  And it was nice to hear that she does more than "eat, and rest, and play."

You may have to start bribing your girls...I find that candy and presents work well. Oh, and soda pop. That's how I won over Carrie's little boy Tristan. Now I'm his "friend Jinfer". It's a sweet position.

My favorite position is still "Mommy Jennifer" though :) I miss those little girls! I hope you'll be down at Christmas.

Isn't it always nice to hear what you already know to be true about your kids from someone else? I'm not surprised that she's doing so well with such an awesome mama!
