We just returned from the Crowley's Ridge Nature Center Fall Family Fair! It was a lot of fun. Kayla got to go with us and she said she enjoyed to too. It was a really sunny and beautiful day!
Keali patiently waiting to eat.
Kalyn waiting in line for the bouncy slide. Always a poser.
Kalyn getting her face painted with a pink butterfly.
Kalyn won a 'predator call' noisy thing that hunters use. I don't know what we need it for, but it is driving me crazy! She was really excited though. I imagine winning that made the 20 minutes she had to sit in a presentation about animals calls bearable.
After she won the noise maker, we decided to go for a walk. As we left the building, a tiny tree frog jumped on Kayla's leg. All I can say is better her than me! She jumped a little, but held herself together in a way that I was slightly envious of! Until the frog peed all over her hand!! Still, she didn't really scream like I would have. Kalyn played with it for a minute, then it was Keali's turn.
Heath put it on her leg and she burst into hysterical sobs! That's MY baby! It was so cute and funny--but sad at the same time. That is one of the challenges of parenting. Seeing your kids terrified of something harmless, and not repeating the action for your own amusement. (We only put the frog near her again one more time but it produced the same reaction.) It was so funny because she cannot go to sleep at night without "Ribbit," her little stuffed toy that Heath's brother Tim gave her. We will see tonight if she still wants Ribbit in the bed with her!

Hahahahaha!
Ahhh That's so sad in a hysterical way. Heath came oer to the house and demonstrated he even did a little dance and screamed like a girl. So cute. I thought the stuffed frog's name was Bribbit?
The girls are getting so big!!!
