We are getting settled in to our new apartment.  It is a bit larger than we originally anticipated, though still much smaller than our house.  It will definitely be good for the time being though.  The kitchen is unpacked and organized...the other rooms are getting there!

Last night I slept in my very own bed for the first time in 1.5 months.  It was HEAVEN!!  Even though I didn't sleep long, I felt very rested when I got up.  Yesterday we bought Heath a new car and I love it.  I am new car jealous of my husband.  Heath gets physically ill whenever we spend multiple thousands of dollars (thank goodness it isn't that often!).  To help him feel better, I told him that I would drive the minivan for a few more years than we were originally planning.  Ugh!  I hope he forgets that in a year or two!  I hate the minivan!  I am just not a minivan person.

Kalyn and Keali are really excited about their new house.  I have to keep shushing them though because we share walls with people again.  I don't like that so much, but I LOVE a free apartment!  The job I took comes with free housing, utilities, internet, etc.  You cannot beat that!

It has been a long and exhausting day.  Tomorrow is Kayla's birthday (Bryan's girlfriend) and I am making a cake and lunch for her.

Kalyn is so excited about starting school Monday.  She tells everyone about how she is going to make friends and learn all day long!

Today is Julia's birthday (Heath's Mom).  Happy Birthday!  She got to have the honor of hearing Keali's first rendition of the "Happy Birthday" song.  It was so cute!  Keali is so adorable!

Oh...and I got to hold a kitten that was only hours old this morning.  I wish a cat would stay that size forever.  I would get one and carry it around in my pocket, taking it out every once in a while to play with.  It was precious!

Heath and I have something in common! (aside from loving you and the girls, of course). I also get physically ill each time I spend a lot of money. When I bought my first car I threw up for a couple of days. I just bought a new laptop (still hasn't come yet :() and I've been sick to my stomach for a week. That's part of the reason I've never bought a house or condo...I think it'd make me sick for the rest of my life!

I am so happy you got the job!! And I am really happy that you guys have an apartment that is bigger than you thought it would be. That is so cute that Keali has started to sing the Happy Birthday song. Or atleast her version of it. I hope she will sing it to me on my birthday!
