Yesterday ended better than it began thankfully! Heath took me out, and we ate dinner and went shopping. One of my stores was having a 75% off sale! I got a few items that I needed and didn't even feel a little bad about it. When we got home, Kalyn and my M I L had made a cake. Kalyn yelled out that she forgot the fire, but she was putting the candles on the cake anyway. She placed 24 candles on the cake and announced to everyone that I was 3. We are the same age!
Heath lit the candles and everyone sang Happy Birthday. It was so sweet, but the best part was Kalyn's face as the whole event occurred. She is a little angel!
Andrea sent me a beautiful bouquet of flowers and it arrived at a time during the day when I really needed it. I got to talk to various family members and my best friend Kelly.
Kelly and I have a really close friendship, and even though we don't talk all the time, we always pick up right where we left off. I loved catching up with her. The only down part of the second half of yesterday was Keali's refusal to fall asleep! Since she sleeps in Heath's and My bedroom, this posed a big problem. We finally gave up and went to bed with her chatting away.
I woke up in the middle of the night and looked at my babies. Keali was so sweet and innocent sleeping in her crib, and Kalyn was sprawled out like an eagle on her bed. I love my kids when they are awake, but I also love watching them as they sleep. They are so angelic and beautiful.
