I am finished packing Keali's room and it is now being packed with all of the boxes.  Kalyn's room is complete except for the top of her closet, and most of my room is finished as well.  That really just leaves the kitchen and the food storage.  And all the odds and ends. 

It seems that every time I move, I get my boxes packed as efficiently and neatly as possible.  But there always seems to be small items that don't make it in.  So I always end up with a box or two of miscellaneous that are packed with everything and are really something of a mess.  Hopefully I will only have one box this go around.

I am now stressing about what to do first.  Once the packing is done, I have to paint.  But first I have to prep...prepping is the absolute worst part of painting  because if it isn't done correctly, the end product isn't as nice as it could be.  Plus we may have decided not to get new carpet (we found out it would take 6-7 weeks!) so I will have to cover all the carpet too.

Warning---if you are friend or family and live within 3-4 hours of us I will be calling this afternoon to invite you to a 'get the house ready' party next Saturday.  We will have painting and a little bit of construction to do.  Please help us!  I don't really want to be separated from my children and husband for more than a week or so.
