We woke up early this morning so we could start PAINT DAY!  It only took me about 25 seconds to remember that I HATE painting!  We had bought a sprayer because we saw how fast painting went on all those home improvement shows we watch.  Yeah.  Not quite the same thing.  After about an hour of trying to spray, but not getting the sprayer to actually spray paint, we decided to just buy some paint rollers and do it the old fashioned way.  It took us about 4 hours total to prime the side of the house.  And it was HHHHOOOOTTTT!!!!  I don't know if we will actually paint today.  I am so exhausted from the priming.  But it is looking better! :)

We worked so hard, I felt like we deserved a treat, so it was off to Sonic for a Happy Hour Route 44!  I love Sonic!  I love Happy Hour at Sonic even more!  Half price drinks--you can't beat that.  I got my favorite cherry-coke, Heath got his favorite green apple limeade, and I got my second favorite cherry limeade for Kalyn and Keali to share.  Yummy!  While I was gone (oh yeah...just like the caulk on Saturday, we ran out of primer with only about 3 square feet left to paint), Heath popped some mini-corn dogs into the oven.  You forget how yummy these things are.  I get nauseous at the thought of a corn dog, but then I eat a bite and fall in love all over again!

Any tips on how to get Kilz primer off of human skin?  I have scrubbed and scrubbed but it won't all come off.
