OH!  Heath and I caulked the outside of the house last night.  We ran out of caulk with 10 inches left!  Augh!!  10 inches!  So we have to run to the store this morning to pick up another can/bottle (what do you call what caulk comes in?).  We should be able to paint Monday.  We have to!  It is supposed to rain early next week.

So while we are caulking, Kalyn is outside with us and tells me she needs to go potty but the front door is locked.  I told her to ask Heath to unlock it for her (my hands were covered with sticky white stuff).  He didn't quite "hop to it."  I called to him to ask him do open the door.  He finished up what he was doing (it didn't take him very long).  Then he disappeared around the side of the house.  He immediately rushed back and told me with his hands in the air that he would let me deal with the situation.

I walked into the front yard and saw Kalyn, shorts and panties around her ankles, crouched over.  She had waited as long as she could, and when she couldn't wait any longer, she performed #2 in the middle of the front yard.  In full view of anyone who chose to look.  Heath thought it was hilarious.  I was just happy she didn't do it in her pants.

When we got finished with the house (or rather when we ran out of caulk...Heath just informed me that caulk comes in a tube) I took my 3rd shower of the day.  I HATE being dirty or sweaty.  I hate even more being dirty and sweaty.  Then we had a pajama party.  This was my way of getting Kalyn into her pajamas at a decent hour without a temper tantrum on her part.  We made some cake (from a box) and watched tv as a family until bed time.

In all, we had a very busy and very productive day yesterday.  I am so proud of my hubby for doing all that work (I admit that I was skeptical in the beginning) and being so talented.  I am also so thankful that Mike came over to help out and lend his expertise!  The two of them made the job look a lot easier than I think it actually was.

Today we are headed over to Mike's for a pool party.  We are supposed to be joined by the third member of the "UFC Fight Night Club," Burl, and his wife Donna.  I really hope Donna shows up.  She said she wasn't going if she was going to be the only woman.  I called last night to insist that I would be there (for the pool and barbeque...not the fight) in hopes that she would believe me more than she believed the guys.  I don't want to be the woman again!

Have a great weekend!
