I got a lot accomplished today, though you would never know it by the state of my house!  You couldn't even really tell that I have packed much except for all of the full boxes sitting here and there.  So much more to go!

Kalyn and I had a good cry this afternoon.  My rocking chair--the chair I rocked both of my beautiful babies with--didn't make the cut.  We don't know how our situation will turn out house-wise and I don't use the chair much anymore.  It was in poor condition too.  We live in a neighborhood where people leave stuff they don't want on the side of the road and other people want it and take it.  So while I was still in the mindset that I didn't need my chair I placed it by the side of the road.  Kalyn cried as I did it--not understanding why I was taking away "[her] chair that she rocks [her] Kealiki-Pooh with."

I sat down with Kalyn on my lap and explained it to her.  We cried together for a little bit then I got weak and decided to go back out and get it.  It was too late.  The chair was gone.  My neighbors are vultures.  It was probably the creepy guy that lives across the street.  My heart hurts to think about it, but my mind knows that I did the right thing. :(

Tomorrow, Keali has her 18 month check up...and shots.  I can't believe she is 18 months old.  She walks and talks.  I can understand her a lot of the time too.  She is playful, beautiful, and smart.  Heath will get home in time for the appointment, then we are going to Sheridan for him to pick up the rest of his stuff.  I hope he will be able to help me this weekend get stuff ready for the girls and he to move up to Jonesboro.

I dread packing up the kitchen!  Maybe I'll save that for last.

I have a huge closet full of rubbermaid boxes stuffed with stuff I will absolutely never use, display, or look at again. And I can't throw any of it away because it all means something to me. You are a trooper. I'm sorry about your chair.

Packing is the worst!! It is very difficult getting rid of things that have any kind of memory! Our neighborhood was the same way, I put tons of stuff on the curb and it was gone by the end of the day! If you need a realtor, I know a great one! :)
