How do you know if you have read too many fairy tales to your child?  I found out yesterday.  Kalyn began her prayers, "Once upon a time!"  She said that then stopped looked at me and started again.  The same way!  After the third time she looked quizzically at me and asked how she was supposed to start.  I told her and she finished her prayers.  Funny!  I will continue to read to her though--I want her to love reading as much as I do.  Sometimes we all have moments where our brains just stop working!

It will be about a week before we can finish painting.  We have a chance of rain all week and I am not taking any chances.  Last year, after doing some outdoor painting at Heath's parent's house it rained, and the semi-wet paint began to collect bubbles of water.  It was a mess and I won't do it again!

Jennifer's surgery went well.  I spoke with her last night and she was so full of drugs.  She slurred her speech ever so slightly and sounded spacey.  But it seems that everything went well and she will really benefit from the surgery.  I hope so at least.  I had the same injury to my back a few years ago and the pain was horrible.  I however was able to control the pain and help fix the problem with exercise.  The doctor gave me the option of a surgery, but I  am glad I didn't do it.  I hope this will really help Jennifer.
