Happy 4th of July! We are planning a nice relaxing day...I guess. We are going to our Ward's celebration. One of the families in the ward have what they affectionatly call a "compound." Actually, the patriarch of the family owns a great deal of land that he, his wife, and his son--his wife, and their children live on. They also have houses for people to rent. The older father also built basically their own personal park (complete with pavillions, a playground, and public restrooms). That is where we are having our party. It should be fun, and the kids will love it. I would rather sit home and relax, but socialization is good for the girls, and Heath enjoys it as well. I am rather shy, and a classical introvert. I don't like being around a lot of people, and I get exhausted by these activities. I must persevere though because I don't like that trait about myself.
Yesterday, Keali walked up to me and said, 'Daddy a boyt." I think that means Daddy is a boy. She spent all day talking. She would tell us when she needed her diaper changed (she says diaper very well), and the would ask for a "drk"--a drink. She is so cute when she talks. She calls Kalyn, "Seesee" and says, "tanks"-thanks. I love listening to her. It seems that I will wake up tomorrow and be sending her off to college. I really don't like how quickly our children grow up.
Happy Fourth of July to everyone!
