It has been a very nice weekend. Friday night, Heath and I dropped the girls off at my Mom's. We went back Saturday afternoon. Heath, Ted, Amanda, Jessica, Kalyn, and Keali went to the mall while Mom and I made purses for ourselves. The purses ended up being quite a bit more complicated that we had thought they would be, so by the time Heath called to tell me they were on their way back from the mall I had only cut out all of my pieces and put the interfacing on them. By the time they got home I had only sewn two 5 inch seams. In the end, Mom helped me get mine done and it is super cute. I am really happy with it. I am using it as a 'church bag' for Sundays.
As we were finishing up, Heath got a phone call from his parents. They were standing outside our house wondering where we were. So we finished up in Hot Springs and came home. Heath's parents made taco salad for dinner and it was really good. Unfortunately they didn't spend the night...Kalyn was sad, but it was a nice visit.
Today, Heath was called and set apart as the Ward Mission Leader. This is a calling in the church that he has had before and really enjoys. He is happy with it. After church, the girls and I came home, ate, then we all went to sleep. I really needed a nap too. When I woke up, Kalyn and I made cookies and now here I am...typing on the computer. It was a nice weekend. I really enjoyed the time with my husband and the time with my Mom.
