Daddy, Keali, and Kalyn getting ready for the baptism. Keali's bow didn't stay on long. :(

Kalyn (the only decent shot I got of just her. Why does she have to make faces?)

We had a nice evening last night. Heath came home from work and we left immediately to attend the baptism of two primary children. Since Heath is the Ward Mission Leader now, I suppose we will be attending most baptisms. The baptisms were for an 8 year old boy named Gerald, and a nine year old girl named Sicily. It was a fairly spur of the moment baptism...meaning that not everyone in the ward was notified it would be taking place, so I, as the Primary pianist, got to represent the Primary presidency and welcome these children into the Primary. Their parents were members, so the kids had been coming to church practically since birth, so it was fun that they were baptized. I also got to play the piano for the service.
When we arrived at the church, the font was being filled. You know Keali LOVES baths. Well...what is a font but a gigantic bathtub? She started tugging at her dress saying Bat-Bat! and frantically pointing at the font. Needless to say, she was disappointed when we didn't let her get in! Kalyn was also disappointed that she didn't get to be baptized. She got the saddest face when we explained that she would have to wait until she was 8. In the LDS church, we believe that children under the age of 8 do not need to be baptized. When they reach the age of accountability (8 years), then they can be baptized. Kalyn was pretty sad that she would have to wait!
We came home after the service and picked up a pizza and some ice cream. Then we sat in our bedroom (the only room with a tv currently), and watched shows with the girls while we ate the pizza. It was fun, and the girls really enjoyed. it.

Keali enjoyed playing peek-a-boo with me and the bed sheets.

Isn't she GORGEOUS!!

How fun! I can't eat pizza in bed. I try not to be a messy eater, but it doesn't seem to matter - I always end up with something on my shirt.

How cute! I took Elena to a baptism and she wanted to go in too.
You got super cute girls over there. I'm so glad you are posting more pictures of them, they are too cute!
