We are definitely getting better slowly. We are taking Kalyn to the pediatrician this morning. She has been complaining of a sore ear for a couple days. Her actual words are, "There is a monster in my ear hurting me." I don't know where this monster thing came from. Anything that doesn't feel right on her is because of a monster. "There is a monster in my tummy." "A monster scratched my leg." ????
I powered through and finished the "The Gymnasts" series. Wow. Jennifer...you were right! What is it about these girls starting the series at age 11 and ending it two years later at age 11? I don't get it. Anyway, I am happy to be done. I won't read them again, but maybe Kalyn and Keali will when they get a bit older.
My whole life I have always admired those who are athletic. Not necessarily the football and basketball players, but gymnasts, dancers (ballet, broadway, etc.), and other graceful sports. I always wished I could be like them, but I have never had enough self-starter energy to actually get to the point I could do it. My own loss, but one that I do regret. I am not graceful and I never have been. I am not too bad, but I am a bit of a klutz.
Along those same lines, I have always envied the people in the movies who break into song simultaneously and begin dancing. I really wish that someday I will be walking down the street and the urge will hit me to start dancing and singing some song I have never heard before--with dozens of other unknown passers-by. Wouldn't that be magical! That dream goes into my stock-pile of 'never will happen' dreams, along with the dream to one day sleep under the most beautiful pastel-rainbow canopy bed I have ever seen (that one really dates back to the 80s), and to ride on top of the luck-dragon from "Never Ending Story." Ah...maybe in the next life!

You can do the "break into song and dance" on the street with unknown passersby! Just do it girl! King David did it and without his clothes! Although I wouldn't recommend you do it without clothes. That would be terrible for Heath to get a phone call from the local police dept and scoop up the girls to go get mama out of jail for streaking! But it would be a funny story...
I think this would be a great segment for John Quiones to do on his show "What would you do?". Get people's reaction to someone just breaking out in song and dance. I'm pretty sure there would be a lot of wierd looks, but entertaining. -Luana
Call me when you go for that right with the luck dragon...I've always wanted to do that too :)
