I was actually able to get a lot of research done yesterday for my project. Heath took the girls out a couple of times so I could have peace and quiet to work, and with my subject matter clarified for me, I was able to get a lot done. I haven't actually put anything together yet, but I have read all of the articles I need to, and I have an idea in my mind how it is all going to come together. I feel good about it!
I did manage to make chocolate chip cookies with Kalyn yesterday too. They are called "Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies," but I don't think they are the ultimate. They are okay though. Really, if you have ever had the Johnson's cookies, (a family in our ward in Jonesboro) you can't truly be happy with any other chocolate chip cookies again. The Johnson's have this secret family recipe that they WILL NOT share with anyone. I have begged and pleaded. Friends have begged and pleaded. My sis-in-law Shannon is good friends with the oldest Johnson girl Denise, and she hasn't even been able to get the recipe. I have contemplated breaking into their house to find it...but I suspect it isn't even written down anywhere. I think they probably get the kids to memorize it as young children, then forbid them to tell anyone the ingredients and portions. It isn't fair, but what are you going to do? Maybe I can get Kalyn to marry Michael? Not really much of a chance there, because Michael is in his 20s and Kalyn is only 3. I would have to wait 20 years or so for the recipe. No. Maybe not. I'll think of something.
So today we got up and found the weather to be perfect for a trip to the park. It was a little windy, but the girls had a great time. Here are some pictures of our trip to the park, from hunting for Easter eggs last Sunday, and from when it snowed a few weeks ago.

Mamaw trying to sneek Keali's Easter candy! (just kidding)

Keali...My little lady!

Kalyn loves to swing.

Keali didn't really know what to think of the slides at first.

Daddy pushed Kalyn on the baby swings.

My little snow bunnies!

Keali loved the snow...until she fell in it and it got on her hands.

Kalyn...A-hunting!

Keali with Aunt Shannon

My precious Keali-Pooh!

I must try these cookies. Have them make you some, then ship them to me overnight.

So cute! BTW, have you ever tried puting dry vanilla pudding mix in with your cookies? It really makes a difference in the yumminess factor. And extra vanilla. MMM! We might have to make cookies today now thinking about it.
