I have the best in-laws EVER! Heath and I are still unwell, so what did we decide to do this weekend? Go to Heath's parents house! I thought it was a terrible idea because I felt so bad, and in the best of health I get lazy when I am there (they really spoil Heath and I by taking such good care of the girls when we are there). I didn't want to saddle them by giving them both girls AND a sick Heath, AND a sick me.
But we went anyway.
It was so nice! Heath was feeling a bit better, and I helped out as much as I could when I had the energy, but for the most part I slept throughout the weekend while my Mom-in-law and Dad-in-law played with the girls (with some help from Heath). Saturday I basically slept.
Sunday we took the girls (and we met up with my brother Bryan) to the Crowley's Ridge Nature Center. Everyone but Bryan and I had gone the day before as well. It was really a nice place to learn about Crowley's Ridge and some nature stuff. There was a little trail leading to an observation point to see the ridge. The hike nearly killed me. A week of coughing does not go well with a hike in the wilderness in the cold. It was a lot of fun though and something I will definitely do again.
I'm feeling a tad better now, but poor Kalyn has come down with the illness too. She doesn't get sick often, but illness hits her hard when she does get it.
Coca-Cola was the hit of the family this weekend, and we all had a nice time. I love the the girls love being with family!
