Happy Valentine's Day!!

FYI, if you post a comment on my blog, you may not see it show up immediately. You can thank some stranger for that. Some creep left a comment that was really BAD (I don't know exactly what it was, thanks to my virus blocker), so now I am moderating my comments before they are posted. Thanks Cheryl for notifying me, and thanks Jennifer for fixing the problem for me!

We took the girls to their yearly check-ups yesterday. They are both very tall for their ages, and are both doing very well. The Dr. drew a circle and asked Kalyn to trace it, or make her own circle (to test some sort of developmental milestone or something). Kalyn didn't. Instead she drew eyes and a mouth in the circle and even added legs at the bottom. The Dr. figures that she is doing just fine! It was a lovely picture. I don't think I drew that well in kindergarten. Maybe she inherited Jennifer and Bryan's artistic abilities! Hopefully! I can barely draw a stick figure.

Heath took us all to dinner last night. It was fun. Keali spent the whole time screaming and grunting at us (not annoyingly, at least to us, although we did try to quiet her). Kalyn, still potty training, announced to the whole restaurant, "I went pee pee in the potty, Daddy!" There were giggles and funny looks from the people around us, but I wasn't ashamed or embarassed at all. I am proud of my daughter. It was a nice dinner with my wonderful husband and gorgeous children.

Next we went to Walmart (our second home). Kalyn and I often get seperated from Heath and Keali. We like to hunt them down and surprise them. It must look funny when people see us crouching behind displays and stealthly running across isles, but we have a ton of fun. Last night Heath actually surpised us by jumping out at us when we lost him. Kalyn loves that game. On the way home, Kalyn began making up her own song to her own tune. The lyrics went something like this:

I love Mommy.
Mommy loves me.
Daddy loves me.
Keali loves me.
I love them.
They love me.
I love me!

We got a kick out of the "I love me" part of the song, but were pleased that she is confident that her family loves her.

I'm really happy she won't be having any confidence issues in live :)
