Thank you to everyone who called Kalyn to wish her Happy Birthday yesterday. She loved talking to you and telling you all about her party. My favorite had to be Aunt Jennifer who lives in Utah. Kalyn invited her to the party. Jennifer said she would love to be there, but she doesn't think she can make it. 1500+ miles is a long way for a party. After getting off the phone, Kalyn talked to me about the problem. She had all kinds of solutions.
"Maybe Jennifer can just come!"
"Maybe Jennifer can drive!"
"Maybe Jennifer can walk!"
I told Kalyn that I just didn't think that Jennifer was going to make it. Kalyn restated that Jennifer "really, really, wanted to be there." I think we may have to call Jennifer during the party so Kalyn can feel like she is there.
Kalyn had a great day, but I don't think her birthday has actually happened until she has her party. Can't wait! (Oh, and it isn't fair that Keali has to wait 9 whole more days for her own birthday!)
