The Temple trip Saturday is off. At least for Heath and I. I have the sickness too now. I offered to let Heath go without me (the youth need him for baptisms) but he won't abandon me with two sick babies while I am sick myself. Thank you! I do feel bad though. I was really looking forward to going. The Temple is so peaceful and welcoming. I love being there. Now I get to stay home sneezing, coughing, and blowing my nose (TMI, I know).
I love my girls. I can't say it enough! They are so sweet and cute. Kalyn was dressed as Ariel (from The Little Mermaid) in a wedding dress. She said she was the Princess and Heath was the Prince. So that is what she called him all night. Prince. I was Cinderella...but not the Cinderella that marries the prince. I was the one that obeys orders and doesn't get anything. Seriously. She was the real princess and I was a servant. Should I have expected anything different?
Keali is soooooo close to walking. She will stand for longer periods of time now and has taken a step every now and again, but falls down immediately. She is close though. Maybe by Christmas. What a gift! She has taken to making a certain face when she thinks she is cute. She wrinkles up her nose and purses her lips. I have to admit that it is adorable, but I think she is gorgeous all the time anyway. The poor baby though...she is so sick she wakes up multiple times a night because she can't breath. There is nothing I can do either. It is heartbreaking. Being a parent is heartbreaking. No matter what I do for my kids, I always want to do more, but I am not able to all the time. I wish I could wave some magic wand and be able to make everything better for them. It hurts to see them uncomfortable.
To those family and friends who need extra love and attention at this period of time (that includes you too, Rex) I am thinking of you and praying for your swift recovery and comfort. Love you!

I HATE HATE HATE it when my kids are sick. I just want to cry. But I recently got an email from a friend that putting Vick's vapor rub on the bottoms of their feet is supposed to help them breath better. I checked it out on-line and everything said that it was neither proven nor disproven. My kids haven't gotten sick since I read it so I haven't tried it myself yet. But I thought I'd let you know, in case you're interested. Let me know if you try it.
Thank you for the get well for Rex. He's feeling a lot better. I love you!
