Laughter and Sunsets

So yesterday the temperature outside got up almost to 80. Today it is supposed to get up close to 60 degrees! Augh! Yesterday I was driving in the car with the girls in the back. They were looking at one another and bursting into laughter. I felt so blessed to have them in my life. Then I looked out the front windshield and saw the sunset behind some clouds. The clouds were being turned pink, peach, and orange. It was so beautiful. I showed them to Kalyn who loved it as much as I did. I told her that Heavenly Father loves us so much he gives us beautiful things to look at.
I have been a bit emotional lately--a friend recently lost her baby and I have been wondering why these things happen. I still don't know why they happen, but I do know that we are not given challenges we cannot over come, and I know that I am loved very much by Heavenly Father. Sometimes it is difficult to remember that when things are not going my way, but I am happy when I do remember it.
This weekend is shaping up to be another busy one. Heath's team is going to the playoffs (we will lose) in West Memphis so Thursday night we will head up to Jonesboro to visit Mama and Papa. We will have the game Friday and I hope to visit with some friends Saturday. It should be another great weekend!
