My mood has improved greatly (I think)...Heath even agrees. Saturday, Mom and Ted brought up their trailer so Heath and I could take some old appliances to the dump. The appliances were in our shed when we bought the house so it was good to get rid of them, but they were heavy! We had to carry a dryer, oven, and refridgerator from the shed to the front yard...no small feat. Lucky for me, Ted and Heath loaded them into the trailer and unloaded them at the dump.
I made lunch for everyone, including Amanda and Jessica. Lunch wasn't so good in my opinion. In fact, I only ate one bite. It was a new recipie that I thought I would try. I won't be trying it again! Dessert was great though. Profiteroles with ice cream and homemade chocolate sauce.
Sunday we went to church and I lost Kalyn. I was in the hall with her talking to a friend about her new baby. I saw Kalyn walking to the end of the hall. When I looked back 5 seconds later she was gone. I didn't panic. She must of just turned the corner. I turned the corner and Kalyn wasn't there. No need to worry. She must have just turned the next corner. Only she wasn't there either.
I turned back and then I saw the open door to the Stake offices. I walked in and couldn't find Kalyn. I am starting to panic a little now. And that is when I see the door leading to the outside. I approach it thinking that there is no way Kalyn was strong enough to open that door. I touched it and it flew open! I step outside and begin to frantically search the church grounds. I can't find her. Then I see the AT&T van parked a little ways from the church. The technician quickly hops into the truck and I am terrified. What if that man just stole my baby?! So I watch him for a moment, but he doesn't seem too suspicious any more.
I walked back into the church (I couldn't really run because I hurt my knee a week ago and like an idiot I am wearing high healed boots so I can't walk very well). I found Heath and quickly explained that Kalyn was gone and I didn't know where she was. He handed me Keali and took off to look. I dropped Keali off with a friend in Sacrament meeting and quickly describe the situation to her. A couple from my Mom's ward (the DeVauxs) over heard me and asked whether the little girl a few rows up and over was mine. It was. Kalyn was playing with the family that was behind our row.
I was so happy and angry. I walked up to her and the woman playing with Kalyn said she was okay. I couldn't very well start scolding Kalyn in the middle of Sacrament meeting (the Stake President was talking at that moment), so I hugged her and went to find Heath. As I stepped out the doors, I saw Heath looking very concerned and two other fathers also searching frantically for my missing 2 year old. I told them where she was. Heath was shocked that the meeting room wasn't the first place I had looked for Kalyn. I didn't think she could open the doors! They are heavy! Goes to show how strong little girls can be. I was so terrified though.
Yesterday afternoon, Keali was in a MOOD. She demanded to be held or else she started screaming and making this face

I can see how the screaming would get annoying, but that is the cutest little face!
What did you make for lunch? And what are profiteroles???
My husband Blake makes the bubbles. He says he just agitates the water really fast, but I've tried and can't accomplish it. Maybe I just don't have the patience. That's why Daddy does bath time. We lost Kayli in the mall one time for about 10 min. I don't think there is any worse feeling in the world.
Wow that is a crazy face! She is so sweet. I'm not surprised that Kalyn was sitting with some (probably) new friends in sacrament meeting. She never meets a stranger! Nice but also a little scary. I'm thinking of coming a seeing you guys sometime this weekend. What are y'all doing? Will you be in town?
