I had a great weekend. Friday night when Heath got home, we loaded up the car and took off for Jonesboro. We got there around 1:30 am and then visited with his parents for an hour or so. Then I went to bed with Keali (getting her to fall asleep around 3:30). Guess what time she woke up? 7 am. Yup. After a while, Heath took her and I went back to bed. When I got up we all went to a consignment sale. I picked up some clothes for the girls (8 super cute pieces for $13.00 total), and a ton of handmade jewlery that is gorgeous. Then we went to one of my favorite fast food places, Fazoli's. We went to the ASU game, but only Heath, his Dad, and Kalyn stayed. My Mother-in-law and I took Keali back to the house, but not before we picked up some strawberry-banana sundaes from Sonic (we both love them).
Heath, my Father-in-law, and Kalyn returned home at half-time and Heath and I went to a movie with Tim and Shannon. We went to see Resident Evil-Extinction. It was okay. I enjoyed the first two. This new one is sort of a transition movie for the next one that they will probably make. That is not to say I didn't get scared. At one part of the film, an undead popped out of nowhere at the exact moment the people behind us dropped something very loud. I jumped at least 5 feet in the air and landed in Heath's lap. Tim and Shan thought it was funny.
When we got back to the house around 11:45 pm both Kalyn and Keali were asleep! It was like a Christmas miracle! Heath and I went to bed after watching "The Tuna Wranglers" on the DC. Interesting show.
Ronald brought Keali in to me around 5 am. She was like, "Hey Mom, lets play!" Not what I wanted at 5 am. So at around 8 am I took her to Heath and I went back to bed. We visited for the rest of the day and came home last night. It was a wonderful weekend. Pretty relaxed and rejuvinating. I love it in Jonesboro!
