Boo at the Zoo

So we went to Boo at the Zoo Saturday night and Andrea was able to go with us. It was fun, but Kalyn was the one who had a blast. We had to wait in line for a really long time. Kalyn was so excited when we first got into line, but by the time we actually paid to get in, she was a bit upset that she hadn't seen any animals yet. We got in and guess what? There were no animals! It is a zoo! Where were the animals? The only thing we saw was a camel, and that was brought in for rides. I admitted to Heath and Andrea though that I think if I had actually seen a baboon or orangatain in the dark I may have had a heart attack. It was fun though. We walked around and looked at stuff.

Kalyn met her idol Elmo. She absolutely refused to touch him though. Andrea tried so hard to get her to hug him, and he did too, but she just wouldn't do it. It all goes back to a big blue horse named 'Lightening" from the school I used to work at.

Kalyn was so scared of this Frankenstein and a Skeleton that moved. Look at the sheer terror in her eyes. She is clutching her Daddy because he is trying to get her to pose with the toy.

At first, Kalyn was scared of these pumpkins too, but her fear abated.
