What a Night

Wow! Last night was a bit of a trial. I stayed up yesterday cleaning up the house, and was so energized by it, I couldn't go to sleep until about 1 am. Not so bad, I've done that before. What I hadn't counted on was Kalyn waking up screaming at 1:30. Of course she woke Keali up. Heath has a sinus infection so he was awake also. So there we were, the whole family watching a past season of America's Next Top Model until almost 3 am. The only reason Heath watched it was he didn't have the energy to fight me on it. Luckily Keali fell asleep quickly when we put her in bed, but I took Kalyn with me to my room so that she didn't disturb Keali. The plan was to move Kalyn after she fell asleep, but by that time I was so tired I didn't care to get up and now my back is stiff from having her knees in it all night.

Kalyn doesn't like meat. I don't know why! She will eat chicken and hot dogs, but that is about it. Now, if we are with extended family, she will eat anything but at home she won't touch hamburger, beef, pork, anything. Annoying. Also, she barely eats anything at home anyway. But when we are with family she never stops eating. Should I be insulted by this? Is it a statement about my cooking? I don't really think so because she won't eat at restaurants either.

Keali pulled herself into a full stand yesterday for the first time. She has been trying for a while and she finally did it. She is SO cute!
